In 1968, in the small workshop of the transport company of Joep Kennis’s father, the idea was born to start making mobile truck loading cranes, as stones were still being loaded by hand. Soon after, the mechanically controlled rear axle was added to that. Years later, in 1994, Joep established the new company, JKB Transporttechniek BV.
JKB operates in the transport handling sector, focusing mainly on the manufacture of stone grabs, pallet hooks for truck loading cranes and fork-lift truck grabs. Over the years, a number of products have been added to this, such as grabs for retaining walls, piles, crash barriers, barriers, and many other types of grab. JKB has a solution for just about any application in internal and external transport.
So, we have not limited ourselves to truck loading cranes and fork-lift trucks. We also build machines that can be fitted to telescopic handlers and diggers. Of course, we provide the correct fittings so that we can guarantee that the machine works safely.
In addition to continuing its current product range, JKB is constantly facing the challenge of finding new solutions to existing technical problems. In fact, it wants to concentrate even more on this, so that it will be able to offer a total package to you as the customer.
